So many things went right during Amanda and Derec’s wedding. First, this was one of the nicest and easy going families that I have worked with … and they love pictures. If you are a bride looking for a beautiful uptown church then you must look at St. Francis Assisi on State St. Easily one of the prettiest churches around … and the lighting is as good as many photography studios. I wish that I could shoot here every week. The Sheraton on Canal St was brilliant as always. The big wall size windows in the suites provide amazing light for pics and the Armstrong Ballroom is always breathtaking. Zoes Bakery created another beautiful great tasting cake. Rickey Heromans Florist had colorful fresh flowers throughout the entire church and reception. Debbie Musso, wedding coordinator out of Baton Rouge worked with everyone to ensure the days events went smooth. Finally Billy Welliver from Welliver Productions captured the entire day in high definition. Billy’s studio is located in Lakeside Shopping Center in Metairie. I really had a hard time choosing under 20 pics for this blog post. Here’s just a small handfull of many great moments and portraits. Congratulations Amanda and Deric ! Enjoy !

There’s something special about a Dad and daughter on her wedding day. Good stuff !

Below Photo: Easily one of my favorites. Thanks to my lovely daughter / assistant Renee and Billy Welliver for the help with the lights.

Catherine and Justin celebrated their wedding day at Our Lady of the Gulf off of the Miss. Coast in Bay St. Louis. Justin’s family flew in from their home town of Hawaii. Catherine and Justin are in the law enforcement field in the Houston area. So this was about family and friends from around the country coming together and celebrating a beautiful wedding in a relaxed, joyous, and emotional day.

One of my favorites.
Congratulations Kristian and Luis. First, I have to tell you that I loved shooting at Michabelle Inn. For any brides looking to get married on the northshore / Hammond area, you should take a look at this place. All of the “Inn’s” rooms are decorated differently yet share a warm decor and beautiful available lighting. Following a outdoor ceremony the reception took place in the back Pavillion. Here’s just a few shots of many from a very easy going fun wedding.

Last week Lashondra and Robert celebrated a perfect all in one location wedding at the beautiful Ritz Carlton on Canal Street. The Ritz is easily one of the nicest hotels in the city. Following a candlelit ceremony, the wedding party danced the rest of the evening in the Grand Ballroom. Great attention to detail and super nice people made this a pleasant wedding to photograph. Chad Dyle and Kelly from Chad Dyle Productions video taped the entire evening from multiple cameras.
Here’s just a handful of many great moments.

Cheryl, Chris, and all of their guest flew in from Texas for a New Orleans destination wedding. The ceremony was held at St Mary’s Italian (old Ursuline Convent), which was built in 1845. A New Orleans style second line brought us to another historic site, The Princess of Monaco. This courtyard and carriage house is certainly a French Qter treasure for weddings and events. Here’s just a few moments captured throughout the day.

Laura and Jerome’s Saturday night wedding took place in the beautiful Armstrong Ballroom at the New Orleans Sheraton on Canal Street. Following the ceremony the party started fast and kept going to the very end. Rockin Dupsey kept this wedding party on their feet all night. Here’s just a few shots from many :

Below Photo: A family friend of the bride made these special second line umbrellas. I love the tux on the grooms umbrella
Below Photo: We were in the center of Canal St taking pics of the bride and her bridesmaids when the guys from another nearby wedding walked past us from behind.

Things got crazy quickly as soon as Rockin Dupsey started playing. The band had a special guest guitar player from Little Richard’s band.

Aramis and Daniel choose a perfect Sunday afternoon for a laid back and easy going wedding. Following a bridal prep over looking the lake at the Lakeway Marriott in Metairie, the ceremony and reception took place at the beautiful Southern Oaks Plantation. Great food, family and friends combined with a beautiful location made for a perfect Sunday wedding. Here’s just a few shots of many.

With a close group of family and friends, Lindsey and Greylin were married at the beautiful uptown Ursuline Acadamy Shrine. The Champagne Palace in Elmwood was the location for the reception. Here’s just a few moments of many. Lindsey and Greylin … great times are coming your way … you guys deserve it.
