After Erin and PJ’s engagement session was rained out several times the past couple of months, we were determine to shoot this session. So plan B was implemented when it started raining within the first five minutes of our session. Shoot the session indoors. I’m glad that we decided to do so. By the way, Erin works with one of the coolest top end hair salons in southeast Louisiana : Michael Franks Salon ! Check them out. You will not be disappointed ! Here’s just a few shots from their session.

Both Brittany and Dr. Richard were great to work with for their wedding. I love it when a couple puts creating great photos at the top of their priority list. Here are just a few sample shots from their wedding day. The ceremony took place at the Gretna Unitied Methodist Church and the reception was at LaMaison Creole.

Since Brittany and Richard’s wedding was this past weekend I thought I’d post a small sample of photos from Brittany’s Formal Session. Here’s a few of my favorites from her session. (wedding pics coming soon)

Katie and Alex had a beautiful New Orleans destination wedding. With family and friends flying in from Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, and many other locations. The ceremony took place at the historic St Louis Cathedral in Jackson Square and the reception was held at the Hotel Monteleone in the heart of the French Qter.

Katie and Alex flew into town for the entire week to celebrate their wedding. Here’s a few pics from their engagement session, which was taken around the Jackson Square area. Katie and Alex will be married on Saturday at the St. Louis Cathedral.

Here’s just a few shots from Angela and Pedro’s engagement session. Pedro flew in from Miami for this session, and of course to spend a few quality days with his bride to be.

Below Photo: Don’t you love it when your shooting at night time on the tracks and a big train shinning a big light drives up behind you … and then slows down for you just long enough to take a few photos … I love it when that happens !

For those brides who have worked with me know that I will gladly suggest doing some type of Post Session and combine it with a TTD session. So when Jeanee’s mom called me she pitched a general concept for the shoot. They wanted something romantic … something that still fit in the “New Orleans” theme … and something both indoors (in the air condition :-) and some low lit outdoor shots at night time. Other than staying in this general theme she told me that I can have full say so regarding shots and locations. Oh my, did that make me happy ! So after a bit of brainstorming, several hotel suite reservation changes, and finding a good “rain location” (that will make sense later) we were set and ready for the shoot. Jeanee’ and Joseph were absolute troopers for this double portrait session which lasted several hours. I have to thank the family members who worked together with me as a team. Here’s just a few of many favorites:

A few shots from Tarah and Blake’s wedding. The ceremony was at the always beautiful Holy Name of Jesus on St. Charles. I have to give a special mention to the Audobon Tea Room located in uptown New Orleans right next to the Audobon Zoo. I love love love the lighting and the rich hard wood floors in this beautiful reception venue. The food is equally as good. For brides looking to stay in the uptown area, this place is worth looking in to. It was also a pleasure working with Suzy Marks Videography who captured the evening on video.
